As 2014 nears an end we wrap up our look at the top 10 viewed profiles of 2014 and its no surprise that the unanimous No. 1 prospect in the 2014 class for the last two years would be the most clicked on profile. We dove deep into our google analytics and below you will find a recap of all ten of the most clicked profiles of 2014.

No. 1 Jeren Kendall

Jeren KendallJeren Kendall (Holmen, 2014) was the only profile in Wisconsin to exceed the 5,000 click mark. What’s more impressive about that number is the fact the Kendall’s profile saw almost all of that action in just the first six months of the year. Over 4,000 of Kendall’s profile views came before the MLB draft in June. The speedy left-handed hitting outfielder was clearly of high interest around draft day as his profile was viewed almost 300 times over the three day span of the MLB draft. Kendall was eventually chosen by the Red Sox in the 30th round and chose to fulfil his commitment to Vanderbilt where he is currently a freshman.

Since the PBR Wisconsin’s inception in late 2012 Kendall has been the unanimous No. 1 ranked prospect in the state so it’s no surprise to see Kendall as the top viewed profile of 2014.

PBR Scouting Report: 2/3/14 - 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, athletically built, left handed hitting outfielder, build shows strength, solid upper half into tapered waist. What stands out for Kendall is the ease at which he plays the game. The Super 60 might not have been Kendall’s best showing but the fleet footed outfielder still showed that he has the tools to play at a pro level. Defensively Kendall showed some of the most natural outfield actions of the group, he move with ease and his feet work extremely fluid, Kendall also ran a 6.66 in the 60. Defensively he profiles as an advanced centerfield defender. Offensively he hits from the left side with a quiet simple approach. Kendall’s bread and butter is using his hands to produce opposite field line drives. His swing is dominated by his hands and shows excellent balance. Kendall has excellent plate coverage over the outer half and seems very comfortable handling any pitch in that area. As long as the weather holds up this year Kendall definitely gave scouts a reason to flock to Holmen, WI this spring.
