It has been just over two months since the 2015 New Jersey Underclass Games, which featured a ton of the most talented 2017-2019s in the Garden State. Most of these players have received a high level of interest since standing out at the event. More than ten prospects have verbally committed since their participation in the September 20^th event.  RHP Sean Miller and 3B/RHP Casey Dana have both chosen to attend Seton Hall University, one of the top programs in the Northeast. Let’s take a look at the pair of prospects who will continue their academic and athletic careers for the Big East program.

Sean Miller, RHP, Pope John XXIII, 2017
+ Sean Miller is a 6-foot-3, 180 pound prospect from Pope John XXIII and Fielder’s Choice travel program. The right-hander is currently ranked #18 in New Jersey’s 2017 Rankings. Beyond the projectable frame, Miller has shown to have present “stuff”. He has a clean arm action from a ¾ arm slot that works well with this dynamic delivery. He possesses a mid-80s fastball and a potentially plus curveball that has been registered as high at 76 miles-per-hour. He also shows solid feel for a late fading changeup to add to his arsenal of pitches.

Casey Dana, 3B/RHP, Don Bosco Prep, 2017
+ Casey Dana comes from two high quality development programs in Don Bosco Prep and Wladyka Baseball. Dana, like Miller, is 6-foot-3 and projectable. The two-way prospect sits at #27 in the New Jersey 2017 Rankings. Dana hits from the right side and has a knack for finding the barrel. He has the ability to create lift and show power, particularly to his pull side. On the mound, Dana possesses a low effort delivery and a long, traditional arm action. He pitches in the mid-80s with good shape to the breaking ball. Dana should progress nicely with more time on the mound.
