The Top Prospect - Milwaukee took place on Tuesday, July 25 at The Rock in Franklin, WI. This was the first Top Prospect event in the state of Wisconsin and the talent was impressive. The pitching was probably the highlight from a statistical analysis as 11 of the 36 pitchers touched 85 mph or better.

TOP 60 YARD DASH TIMES
On what was a slower track than normal, Zachary Lutz (Hartford Union) ran the top 60 at 6.84. Lutz has previously been in the 6.6's at previous events.

RHP Nicalas Wanker (Oak Creek) showed the biggest arm of the day touching 90 mph once, sitting 86-89 mph with a heavy fastball. RHP Colin Fields (Libertyville) out of Illinois topped out at 89 mph with a live quick arm.

Alex Oakley (Sun Prairie) posted the top exit velocity of the event at 96 mph. Mukwonago's Tyler Gaecke translated his 95 mph exit velocity to BP launching several balls to his pull side.

Kyle Kroener (Tomah) displayed a big time arm from the outfield. Long loose and effortless, he topped at 91 mph. A raw athlete, Kroener could also intrigue some on the mound.

Jacob Kaiser (Catholic Memorial) posted the top pop times at 1.93, while Brandon Bannon (Richmond Burton) followed closely with a 1.94. Both posted the only sub-2.0 pop times of the day.

Kaiser's top pop time was due much in part to his big arm out of the crouch. Matt Miller (Sussex-Hamilton) also showed off a strong arm that carried well, and may have been the best receiver of the event.
