Scouting Report: 6/5/16 Game Notes- Class of 2019 right-handed pitcher Cam Dennie (Plymouth HS) has a thin, athletic 6-foot, 155-pound frame with plenty of room to fill out. He showed a quick arm with a fastball in the 84-86 mph range in the first inning, fell off some in the second inning to 82-85 before settling in at 81-83 for the rest of the game. Dennie showed feel for both a curveball at 71-74 mph and slider at 74-76 mph, flashed sharp versions of each pitch throughout the game. This past fall he worked mostly in the upper 70’s with his fastball, topping out at 81. Dennie is a young right-hander that continues to trend up.
