Feb 2017 Super 60: Ball State recruit. 6-foot, 165-pound right-handed pitcher, wiry-thin build, narrow shoulders, overall quick-twitch athlete. Uses a small toe tap and average bat speed to produce line drives.
2/20/16: 6-foot, 160 pounder ran a 6.68-60 and was 92 from the OF from a loose, high ¾ arm action. Good life on his throws. Athletic actions in the field with quick feet. At the plate shows quick twitch with quick hands. Average use of the lower half, tendency to dive. Fair approach. Line drive hitter. Recorded a high exit velocity of 85 mph. PITCHING 6-foot, 160 pounder pitches from a high ¾ slot with quick arm speed. Loose arm action. Regular effort in the delivery with smooth rhythm. Uphill shoulders, stays in line. FUTURE GAMES 2015: Wiry 5-foot-11, 155-pounds but showed as big of an arm as any. It’s a short quick, lively arm action that worked 86-89 with the fastball and showed an equally impressive curveball. It too is a swing and miss curveball at 77-78 that seemed to disappear on hitters.
