4.28.18 - Illinois State commit, currently ranked No. 15 in the Illinois’ 2020 class. Highly-advanced defensive catcher. Flexible hips, low, square setup, presents and sticks pitches in the zone. Agile blocker, ability to deaden ball in front. Clean, athletic transfer, short, over-the-top arm action and strong, accurate arm with carry. Pop times ranged between 2.00-2.07 in between innings. Left-handed hitter, finished the day 1-for-2 with a walk. Balanced, relaxed look in the box, smooth load and looks to use the middle of the field. Flashed bat speed with natural lift in swing. Singled hard up the middle in his second at-bat, stayed short and compact.
2.18.18 - Illinois State commit. 6-foot, 175-pound, catcher, strong, durable build. One of the top defensive catchers in the state. Advanced arm strength for his age, topped at 80 mph from the crouch. Throws had cut at times but when he stays behind the baseball, throws carry and stay true. Pop times ranged from 1.86-2.06. Polished receiver; soft hands, stays quiet, presents pitches well in the zone. Left-handed hitter, balanced setup, smooth load and leg-lift trigger. Confident look in the box, fluid rhythm, present bat speed, uphill bat path and present bat strength; 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. 7.55 runner in the 60.

Line drive hitter with a short, uphill swing path and fast bat. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.91 runner down the line. Defensively long arm action from an over the top slot. Accurate throws with carry, threw 78 mph from the crouch. Clean exchange with fluid footwork and soft hands. Pop times ranged 2.04-2.15.
2.20.17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, present strength, athletically built left-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, advanced catch and throw prospect for his age. Flexible lower half, quiet receiver, soft hands with ability to stick pitches in the zone. Comes out of the crouch athletic, stays on-line. Advanced arm strength for age, from an over-the-top slot, throws are true with carry and clocked at 77 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.00-2.08. Offensively, left-handed hitter, bat speed, uphill path, pull approach with power potential. Balanced, closed setup, early load, low hands, short stride and active lower half throughout. Registered an 80 mph exit velocity from a tee. 7.86 runner in the 60.
1.28.17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, strong, well-proportioned, two-way prospect. Worked out on the mound and behind the plate. Defensively, advanced catch and throw prospect for his age. Flexible lower half, presents target well, quiet receiver, soft hands with ability to stick pitches in the zone. Comes out of the crouch athletic and quick. Quick arm from an over-the-top slot, throws are true with carry and clocked at 77 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.10-2.20. Offensively, left-handed hitter, bat speed, uphill path, pull approach with power potential. Balanced, closed setup, early load, short stride and active lower half throughout. Registered a 79 mph exit velocity from a tee. 7.91 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, throws strikes with a three-pitch mix. Slow tempo in delivery, repeats, high-front side, lands closed and some effort throughout. Quick arm out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball, thrown for strikes, straight action, 79-80 mph, topped at 81 mph. Curveball, 12/6 action, 64-65 mph. Changeup flashed sinking action, 73-76 mph.
3.6.16 - 5-foot-10, 175-pound two-way prospect. Advanced defensive catcher with present arm strength and athletic actions; 72 mph from the crouch. Over-the-top arm action, true ball with carry and on the bag. Offensively, left-handed hitter, with bat speed and strength through contact; 78 mph exit velocity. Stays on top of the baseball, consistent hard contact and a gap-to-gap approach. Balanced setup, pre-pitch load, short stride and good balance. 8.19 runner in the 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, quick, long arm from an over-the-top slot. Delivery has rhythm, lands closed, stays on-line and head snap finish. Fastball thrown for strikes and clocked 75-77 mph. Curveball worked 12/6, and ranged between 60-64 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, sat 69-71 mph.
1.31.16 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher. Offensively, present bat speed, uphill bat path and gets extension through contact at times. Fluid rhythm, line-drive and pull approach. Balanced, closed setup, pre-pitch load and good balance. Registered an exit velocity of 77 mph. Defensively, athletic actions behind the plate. Over-the-top arm action, true ball, with carry and clocked at 72 mph. Pop times ranged between 2.05-2.11. On the mound, the right-hander works with some rhythm, long arm action, out of a high ¾ slot and regular effort. Fastball worked mainly straight and ranged between 75-78 mph. Curveball worked 12/6 and clocked at 60-63 mph. Changeup, mostly straight and sat 66-69 mph.
