With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Toledo Whitmer Panthers

Coach Outlook: “We were very young last year, and although we gained some experience, we will still be young in spots this year because we lost 2 starters and key contributors from last year’s team to career ending injuries sustained this fall in football. If our pitching develops we should be competitive.”

PBR Outlook: 8 wins in 2017 doesn't tell the story for Whitmer. The Panthers have a talented group of kids who got big time experience last year and head coach Brad Densmore looks for that to play a big roll in the success in 2018.
