Sectional 1

Munster 2 Lowell 1 – Munster scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. Jonathan Azat threw a complete game allowing one run on six hits while striking out four. Alex Del Rio doubled and drove in the winning run.

Hammond Morton 13 Gary West Side 0 – Patrick McCormack got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out five.

Hobart 10 Merrillville 0 – Braden Niksich threw a five inning no hitter to get the win allowing one walk and striking out seven. Luke Budzielek was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Nick Bokum was 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, and Alex Batistatos was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs.

LaPorte 3 Valparaiso 0 – Evan Miller threw a two hit complete game shutout in the win allowing one walk and striking out nine. Jake Benefiel was 2-2 with two doubles and a run scored.

Penn 13 SB Adams 6 – Penn scored 12 runs in the fifth to take the lead for good, Elliot Lares doubled twice and drove in three runs.

SB Riley 9 SB Washington 2 – Trevor Creager got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on three hits.

McCutcheon 7 Western 1 – Jordan Young threw six shutout innings to get the win allowing six hits and striking out 10. Logan Sowers was 4-4 with a homerun and three RBI, Sean Roginski was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Caleb Jordy was 2-2 with a triple and a run, and Spencer Caldwell was 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

Laf. Jefferson 5 Marion 2 – Chandler Ferguson picked up the win throwing a complete game allowing one earned run, three hits, and striking out nine. Austin Albrecht was 2-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Clay Bowman was 1-4 with a run, and Joe House was 1-3 with a run.

Brownsburg 8 Martinsville 4 – Caleb Sampen was 2-4 with four RBI, Jacson McGowan was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Tyler Houston was 2-4 with a double and a run scored. Triston Polley threw 2.1 innings in relief, not allowing a hit or a run while striking out three.

Plainfield 11 Mooresville 7 – Peyton Jones was 3-4 with a triple, four RBI, and a run, Antonio Lucciola was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Gabe Burkhardt was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Alec Caprarella was 2-2 with a RBI and a run, and Justin Martin was 1-2 with three runs.

Floyd Central 14 Seymour 3 – Mike Springer was 2-3 with a triple, three RBI, and two runs, Austin Newell was 3-4 with two RBI and two runs, Kyle Beach was 2-2 with a triple and a RBI, Evan Jewell was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Colton Kimm was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Trey Fulton was 1-2 with two RBI and a run scored.

Knox 11 New Prairie 6 – Connor Haines was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Eric Dan was 2-5 with a double and two RBI, and Brock Majschrzak was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored. Scott Trojan threw 5.1 innings allowing six runs, four hits, and striking out seven.

Benton Central 5 Peru 3 – Brett Shoults was 2-3 with two RBI, Cole Jackson was 2-2 with a double and a RBI, Sam Smith was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Henry Fisher was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Corbin Wiese was 2-2 with two runs. Marcus Patterson threw a complete game for the win allowing three runs and striking out four.

Northwestern 6 Maconaquah 3 – Logan Macaluso threw a complete game allowing three runs on three hits while striking out seven. Jake Vent was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and a run, Austin Bowley was 2-3 with a RBI, Macaluso was 2-4 with a double and a run, and Dylan Sheely was 2-3 with a run.

NorthWood 13 Tippecanoe Valley 5 – Vince Miranda got the win throwing a complete game, striking out seven. Kyle McCoy and Chad Sellers each drove in two runs, Hunter Lane doubled, tripled, and scored twice, and Will Kirkwood and Tanner Farmwald each doubled and scored twice.

Bishop Luers 1 Angola 0 – Eckert threw a complete game shutout allowing four hits and striking out two to get the win. Mack scored the lone run of the game and Rybicki and Aghabekan each had a double.

Northfield 9 Eastbrook 8 – Adam Roser was 2-4 with a homerun, three RBI, and three runs, Bryce Kendall was 2-3 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Drake Richter was 4-4 with a homerun and two RBI, Shane Vigar was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Dylan Brown was 1-2 with two runs.

New Palestine 10 Chatard 0 – Evan Vance threw a one hit shutout going all five innings to get the win, striking out three. Keegan Watson was 2-3 with two homeruns, four RBI, and three runs, Cameron Clark was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Logan Gilvin was 2-3 with a run, and Nick Butcher and Steven Clark each had a hit, RBI, and a run.

Charlestown 11 Corydon Central 0 – Drew Reich picked up his eighth win throwing all five innings allowing two hits and striking out four. Ryan Jones was 2-4 with a RBI, Tanner Wesp was 2-3 with a RBI, Daniel Sprinkle was 2-3 with three RBI, and Colin Martin was 2-3.

Bishop Noll 13 Lake Station 0 – Cal Djurasovic threw a five innings no hitter to get the win, striking out eight. Angel Figuereoa was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs and Willie Torres was 2-2 with a triple and three runs scored.

Whiting 13 Bowman 3 – Matt Dvorscak was 4-4 with two doubles, a triple, three RBI, and a run, Adam Navaroo was 2-3 with three RBI and two runs, and Ryan Veloz was 2-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs. Cody Buscko struck out 11 in the five inning win allowing one earned run and three hits.

Delphi 18 North Judson 8 – Kolby Myer was 2-2 with three RIB and four runs, Ostin Clark was 3-5 with a double and five RBI, Josh Gillam was 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Brent Hawn was 1-5 with two RBI and two runs, and Trevor Cox was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs.

Laf Central Catholic 12 North Newton 0 – Hayes Cronk threw a five inning no hitter allowing three walks and striking out 12. Adam Lovell was 2-3 with a RBI and three runs, Evan Kennedy hit a solo homerun and scored three times, Coy Cronk doubled and drove in two, and Pete Metzinger was 1-3 with two RBI and a run.

Prairie Heights 3 Bremen 2 F/9 – Jacob Heller drew a bases loaded walk in the top of the ninth to bring in the winning run, he finished 2-3 with a run. Joey Barry was 2-4 with two runs and Tanner Perkins was 1-3 with a RBI. Bo Murphy threw all nine innings allowing one earned run, seven hits, and striking out nine to get the win.

Westview 6 Fremont 2 – Tarrin Beachy picked up the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on six hits while striking out 10. Jamar Weaver was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Judah Zickafoose was 1-3 with solo homerun and two runs, and Kohle Christner was 1-4 with a RBI and a run.

Woodlan 5 Churubusco 1 – Brad Barker through a complete game allowing one run on three hits while striking out 11 to get the win. Shawn Kitzmiller was 2-4 with a double, homerun, and three RBI, Rich Ehle was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Jared Emenhiser was 2-3 with a run, and Jake Summers was 2-3 with a double.

Madison-Grant 8 Taylor 7 F/8 – Austin Purkey tripled in two runs to tie the game and scored on a wild pitch to win it, finishing 2-2 with two triples and two runs, Alex Garringers was 3-4 with a double and two runs, Seth Nash was 2-4 with two doubles and two RBI, and Caleb Whybrew doubled and drove in a run.

Frankton 12 Winchester 2 – Bryce Mallernee was 4-4 with a RBI and three runs, Blaine Reed was 3-4 with a double, four RBI, and a run, Matt Kunce doubled and drove in two, Connor Love was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Logan Weins was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. Austin Webb threw all five innings allowing two unearned runs, four hits, and striking out four.

Centerville 3 Eastern Hancock 2 – Eli Callahan threw a complete game allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out 12. Andrew Walter was 2-3 with a homerun and two RBI, Sam Shaw was 2-3 with a solo homerun, and Justyn North was 1-3 with a double and a run.

Heritage Christian 7 Park Tudor 2 – Colin Marsh doubled and drove in four, Ronnie Timmerman was 2-2 with a double and a run, Riley Schlosser doubled, had a RBI, and a run, and Alec Barber was 1-3 with three runs. Collin Marsh threw six innings for the win allowing two runs on four hits.

Scecina 14 Indy Howe 0 – Nolan Ayres was 2-3 with a double, triple, three RBI, and two runs, Kirby Cox was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Aaron Leming doubled, drove in three, and scored once, Sam Burck was 2-3 with a double and a RBI, and Jacob Cavanaugh doubled, drove in three, and scored three.

Jackman got the win throwing 2.2 innings shutout innings, striking out four.

Eastern 9 Crawford County 1 – Austin Roberts was 2-4 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Scot Ames was 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run, and Cody Shepherd was 3-4 with a RBI and a run. Brayton Brading threw a complete game allowing three hits, one unearned run, and striking out three to get the win.

Providence 12 Henryville 1 – Cam Harvey got the win throwing all four innings allowing one unearned run, four hits, and striking out 10.

Linton 11 South Knox 7 – Bryant Jackson doubled and homered, Kendall Williams and Logan Hollingsworth each had three hits and two RBI, and Trent Vowell drove in two runs.

Eastern Greene 8 North Central 2 – Gage Shell threw five innings to get the win and CJ Shelton homered.

Kouts 6 Covenant Christian 0 – Jake Everhart struck out 16 in the complete game win allowing three hits and walking one. Jake Bekelya was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs and Will Ward was 2-4 with a RBI.

North White 3 Caston 2 – Luke Diener struck out 10 in the complete game win allowing one earned run and three hits. Caleb Hendress was 1-4 with a RBI and a run, Kurtis Klopfenstein was 1-2 with a RBI, Ty Mattix was 2-2 with a run, and Diener was 1-4 with a RBI.

Hauser 17 Shawe Memorial 1 – Brooks Bailey was 3-4 with a double, two triples, four RBI, and five runs, Rory Thayer was 2-3 with two RBI and four runs, Will Rose was 2-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Nathan Branum was 3-4 with two RBI and a run, and Jared Schoen was 1-4 with two RBI.
