No. 1 Gray Fenter: He was drafted in the 7th round and signed out of high school, by the Baltimore Orioles. He had Tommy John Surgery and missed the 2016 season and has shown promise in 2017, his final 10 appearances in class A Short Season he was 0-1 with a 2.54 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched with 30 strike outs and 7 walks.
No.2 Kacey Murphy, is currently a junior at the University of Arkansas. In 2016 Murphy pitched 49.1 innings with a record of 5-1, with 19 appearances 10 of those were starts. He had an ERA of 3.65 with 68 strike outs and 21 walks.

As a sophomore he appeared in 10 games with 11.2 innings pitched and 12 strikeouts. His ERA inflated from his freshman year, his first two seasons were at Auburn University, he transferred to Henderson State University for his junior season.
No.4 Blaine Knight, is currently a junior at the University of Arkansas. He was a draft eligible sophomore and was selected in 29th round by the Texas Rangers, he has created a ton of buzz while at Arkansas, and is rumored to have priced himself out of the earlier rounds of the draft. His numbers have been good while in Fayetteville. As a freshman he had 18 appearances with an ERA of 2.98 in 48 innings pitched. As a sophomore he went 8-4 with an 3.28 ERA in 90 innings pitched. Also was named to the Golden Spikes Award Watch list last season.
No. 5 Andy Pagnozzi, is currently a junior at the University of Mississippi; As a freshman he was 8-2 with a 3.31 ERA with 22 Appearances, he was named a Freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger. As a sophomore he appeared in 13 games with 16.1 innings pitched and an ERA of 3.31

No. 7 Weston Rogers, is currently a junior at the University of Arkansas; His freshman year he pitched 20 innings with 5.85 ERA with 17 strike outs and 6 walks. As a sophomore he pitched 12.2 innings recording 14 strike outs.
No.8 Ben Madison, is currently a junior at Central Baptist College, he transferred after his freshman year at Crowder College. As a sophomore at CBC Madison posted a 3.71 ERA with 129 strike outs, earning AMC new comer of the year and first team NCCAA All-American.
No. 9 Cody Davenport, is currently a junior at University of Central Arkansas. He has been a consistent performer on the mound. His freshman year he threw 101 innings with 71 strike outs. As a sophomore he pitched 65 innings with 37 strike outs.
No. 10 John Boushelle is currently a junior at Mckneese State University, after stops at Kansas State and Cowley County College. He has received limited mound time at either stop, throwing 8 innings at Cowley County. He was drafted out of High School in the 20th round.
Overall I feel the rankings were solid. Blaine Knight has developed into the dominant arm, and could make an argument that he could be considered the No.1 player in that class. Cody Davenport has been a dominant arm for UCA including a win the regional and make a case, that he could make a case for being ranked higher. We will look into players ranked 11-20 next week.
