This Sunday, February 5th marks the 15th annual PBR Super60 Pro Showcase hosted at The Max indoor facility in McCook, IL. Over the last 14 years, the Super 60 has become the most heavily scouted preseason event for potential draft picks. The primary purpose of the Super 60 is to give professional area scouts, cross-checkers and scouting directors a head start to the high school season. The event is for draft-eligible Class of 2017 prospects.
2017 VA SUPER 60 PREVIEW
In 2015, Nate Eikoff became the first player from the State of Virginia to attend the Super 60. The Virginia commit showed off his smooth left-handed cut and clean actions from the infield to a solid performance on the day. Today we look back at his Super60
Scouting Report
A 5-foot-11, 185 pound, middle infielder, Eikhoff hits from a slightly open stance from the left side. He uses a quiet load to achieve separation and has a fluid path to the ball. Eikhoff has good bat speed and can show gap-to-grap power. He has athleticism, quickness and good actions in the field, maintaining good body control.
