HOUSTON—On the final day of The Rode Show in Texas, we saw three games, starting with a doubleheader for OF Cole Turney (Travis HS, TX) and SS/RHP Sanson Faltine III. A start by RHP Tylor Fischer (Langham Creek HS, TX) capped our trip.

It took a few at-bats before Turney swung the bat, as he walked in his first two trips and saw a total of 10 pitches. In his third plate appearance he turned on an inside pitch, hammering it foul before staying back a tick longer and smoking a single through the right side on the next offering. That would be his only hit on the day, but he scored a couple runs and stole a base.
