The Rode Show: Adell Doubles, Gets On The Mound

LOUISVILLE, KY—On our final day in Kentucky, we doubled up on games to see C/OF Tanner Johnson (South Oldham HS, KY) and OF/RHP Jordon Adell (Ballard HS, KY).

Johnson went 0-for-3 with two pop outs and a soft lineout. He showed a good path and solid bat speed, but was out in front of everything. He also played the outfield, as he was catching the second game of a doubleheader, so we didn’t get to see him work behind the plate. Johnson stands out physically with an athletic frame and broad shoulders.
