Texas Power 25: Week 10
April 30, 2018
TEXAS, USA - Now that the regular season is finished, teams are ramping up for a playoff run. Most teams will play their first game on Thursday, although there are a couple of single games being played on Wednesday. Remaining in the Number 1 spot for the ninth straight week is Lake Travis. Although the Cavaliers dropped their second game of the season with a loss to Vandegrift, they are still 28-2.

Prev | Rank | Team | Class | Record |
1 | 1 | Lake Travis | 6A | 28-2 |
2 | 2 | Coppell | 6A | 28-4-1 |
3 | 3 | Colleyville Heritage | 5A | 25-4 |
4 | 4 | Argyle | 4A | 27-0 |
9 | 5 | Rockwall Heath | 6A | 28-6-1 |
+ Coppell: The Cowboys have been trending upward all year. And although they had their win streak snapped on Saturday by a strong Frisco Wakeland club, they remain at No. 2 because of the 28 wins, and the first place conference finish.
+ Colleyville Heritage: The Panthers locked up first place in district with two wins over Grapevine, but suffered a loss on Saturday to No. 12 Prosper.
+ Argyle: The Eagles are now 27-0 and the only undefeated team in the state of Texas. Out of the 4A teams we have seen, they are the best, but I would pay good money to see these guys face off against Sweeny.
+ Rockwall Heath: The Hawks are now 28-6-1 after winning three games last week, including a non-district game against Allen.
ON THE RISE
+ Dallas Jesuit: At 27-6, Jesuit has now won 15 games in a row.
+ Midway: Went 2-0 last week and they finish 14-0 in district.
+ Godley: The Wildcats locked up the district title with a 9-4 win over Midlothian Heritage and they are now 21-1 Overall.
+ McAllen: The Bulldogs have locked up first place after posting an 11-0 district record with 15 wins in a row with an overall record of 25-1-1.
+ Cleburne: The Yellowjackets have won 26 games in a row, yes...26. They are now 29-1-2 overall and 14-0 in district.
+ Cypress Fair: The Bobcats clinched the district championship last week with two wins over Cypress Woods to finish 16-1 in District and 23-8 Overall.
ON THE BUBBLE
+ Georgetown is now 25-7, 16-0 in District, and they have won 19 games in a row.
+ Allen finished first in their league, and they are 22-8 Overall.
+ Episcopal: The Knights are now 23-8-1 and are poised for the State Tournament coming up this week.
+ Kinkaid is now 28-7 and they have several arms that could help them secure a State Championship this coming week.
