This past summer saw the top players in our state joined together to create Team Nevada and represent our state against the top Uncommitted prospects from around the country at the Junior Future Games, Future Games and the inaugural West Coast Games. Players from this team were selected from standout performances at their High School Scout Days and Open Scout Days, as well as the Underclass and Upperclass Top Prospect Games. The Team Nevada prospects were able to showcase their "stuff" in front of the hundreds of collegiate scouts in attendance at each of the national event with helping the 15 prospects currently committed with many more expected to come in the next couple months. 

We continue our #TeamNevada Commitment Tracker feature with recent Pacific Commit, Kody Bialas, who stood out on both sides of the ball at the 2021 Future Games with the upside on the mound being something we will follow closely.

2021 Future Games Report - "The primary infielder posted arguably the best outing of the event as he struck out four batters over his scoreless three innings of work. His three pitch mix proved effective against a stacked California group with his fastball being his primary pitch to attack early and often with, running it up to 86.77 mph via TrackMan while sitting 84-86 mph. His breaking ball showed quality 11/5 shape with similar arm speed and plane as his fastball. His changeup worked mostly as a show pitch ahead in the count, but flashes promise as a potential quality pitch down the road. With this performance, Bialas solidified himself as a potential two-way prospect at the next level as he only seems to be scratching the surface of what he is capable of on the mound, relying heavily on his athleticism and projects to polish his delivery and mix over the next few years."
