2017 TEAM PREVIEW: 4a dekalb barons

Conference (2016 Record):  Northeast 8 - 4-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4

Top Returning Players:

• Brandon Dunham, P, 2017: 5-4 48K 2.11ERA
• Troy Hickman, 1B, 2018: .344BA 3HR 

Outlook:  Coach Murdock takes DeKalb into the 2017 season with 7 returning starters including Brandon Dunham anad Troy Hickman.  The Barons have one of their most experienced groups prepared for this season both at the plate and on the mound. Dekalb will have to compete against a competitive Northeast 8 conference along with the sectional.  Coach Murdock believes this group has put in the work to be properly prepared to execute when it matters most.
