2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Columbus North Bulldogs

Conference (2016 Record):  Conference Indiana 4-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

2017 Team Strengths:

• Tyler Finke, MIF, 2018: .426BA 17SB
• Jake Petrusky, RHP, 2018: 6-2 2.19ERA
• Parker Maddox, RHP, 2019: 2-4 

Outlook:  The Bulldogs lost a few key starters in 2016 including Brice McDaniel and Collin Lollar.  Coach McDaniel will rely on 4-year starter Cooper Trinkle, an Evansville commit, to lead Columbus North to success this spring.  They will not be shy on talent as Tyler Finke, Jake Petrusky, and Parker Maddox all have the capability to produce at a high level.  The lineup will have speed and depth, but will have to replace some power this year. The Bulldogs will be a fun follow this spring to see if their youth on the mound develops enough to make a postseason run.
