2017 Team Strengths:

• Will Klein, P, 2017 (right): (.323 BA, 2-1, 13 IP, 16 Ks)
• Riley Crean, P/OF, 2017: (.368 BA, 2-2, 14 2/3 IP, 16 Ks)
• Grant Druckemiller, 1B, 2017: (.377 BA)
• AJ Willis, UTIL, 2017: (.299 BA)
• Dylan Steele, P/OF, 2019:  (1-0, 18 1/3 IP, 21 Ks)
• Harry Deliyannis, P/SS, 2019: .308 BA

Outlook: The Cougars will build off of last year's experience between Riley Crean (IU commit) and Will Klein (Eastern Illinois commit) bringing back the bulk of the innings on the mound.  Dylan Steele, currently ranked No. 13 in the 2019 class, will also be an important arm for Coach Hurt.  Bloomington North also has Grant Druckemiller (Franklin commit) back in the middle of the lineup.  Coach Hurt has higher expectations in 2017 for his Cougars to compete for a conference and sectional title.
