2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles

Outlook: The Golden Eagles bring back a wealth of talent into 2017 under head coach Brad Lantz.  After losing ace Luke Buehler (Rose-Hulman) to graduation, the Eagles will have to replace some innings on the mound.  The lineup comes back strong behind St. Louis commit Grant Fremion, Matt Olovich, and DePauw commit Kash Hale.  Uncommitted senior, Trevor George, will have a strong impact on both the mound and lineup. Last year's lead-off hitter, Cameron Kirsch, should have another strong year in 2017.  A 2019 grad, Luke Godfrey, looks to break through for the Golden Eagles as well.  The Circle City Conference should be a gauntlet in it's inaugural year. Coach Lantz looks to build throughout the regular season in hopes of making a strong playoff run.
