2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Covenant christian warriors

Class: 2A
2016 Record: 5-16
Conference (2016 Record):  Independent
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/2

2017 Team Strengths:

• Defense
• Pitching

Top Returning Players:

• Connor Krizan, C/P, 2018
• Jake Brackett,  SS/RHP, 2019
• Brennan Moran, MIF/P, 2020 

Outlook:  The Warriors graduated three of their top pitchers and over half of the lineup in 2016.  Coach Gossel expects young players to step up into new roles.  Returning catcher, Connor Krizan, should lead this young group this spring.  Starting SS, Jake Brackett is also back for Coach Gossel as he looks to rebuild the roster back up in 2017.
