Team Nevada: Tyler Avery
July 21, 2020
With the PBR Future Games exactly one month out, we are going to take a look at the prospects selected to represent Team Nevada. These are the best Uncommitted prospects that our state has to offer in the 2022 - 2023 classes and are expected to be some of the first prospects off the board. I am extremely excited about this years team with level of talent that will representing our state against the top Uncommitted players from around the country.
A recent addition to the pitching rotation for Team Nevada, Tyler Avery is a 6-foot-3, 220 pound RHP that has been up to 89 mph on the bump with potentially more in the tank. Up to 83 mph at the Bishop Gorman Scout Day earlier this year, Avery has put in the work to make himself a legit prospect to the mound with the recent six mph jump in velocity paired with a slider that shows late bite in the zone. Avery is the final piece to an exciting roster of prospects that is already creating some buzz with just under two weeks until the event.
