Team Michigan Future Games Spotlight: Sam Weatherly, OF/LHP
July 29, 2015
By Aaron Wilson
PBR Michigan Assistant Scouting Director
On July 30th through August 1st, PBR Michigan will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 to represent Michigan at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.
Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100+ colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Thoughts on being selected to play at the Future Games and represent the state of Michigan: "Honored to be selected and excited to take part in this event with great players from Michigan. How has PBR helped as far as recruiting and exposure: "I've attended two showcases and the information gathered was distributed allowing me to receive attention from colleges. It's a great way to get player's information out to many schools who access PBR to aide their recruiting."
