Super 60 Wrap-Up: OF/LHP Zach Kokoska (Bullpen Session)

PBR Notes: Kokoska completed a long day by sitting 86-89 on the mound out of a 3/4 arm slot. The lefty start with a side-rocker step and displayed good tempo to his delivery. He also showcased a curveball at 71-72 and a changeup that sat 78-81. While he is likely a position player first at the next level, he shows projection on the mound and will likely have opportunities to do both at the college level.

One of the few two-way prospects in attendance, Kokoska began his day with a bang registering the third fastest 60-yard dash of all players in attendance at 6.59. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound left-handed hitter recorded a 95 mph bat exit velocity and showed the ability to impart consistent backspin during a solid round of batting practice. The left-handed thrower finished his positional workout by showcasing 90 mph arm strength from the outfield with solid carry.
