Previously committed to Connecticut, Ash was a big riser at the Midwest ProCase last summer and eventually switched to Missouri. He stands at 6 feet, 175 pounds with a solid build. He is very competitive on the mound, attacking hitters with an advanced three-pitch mix. He has a quick, clean and loose arm with an athletic delivery. He can sit 88-91 with some arm-side life. His slider can be a go-to pitch, as he throws it aggressively and confidently. It has short, tight and late-breaking action at 77-79 and up to 82. His changeup is 80-82 with arm-side sink.
