Craan has a good, lean frame and is one of the best athletes in Illinois’ 2015 class. He’ll be one of the fastest players at the Super 60, capable of running a 6.55-second 60. He also has a strong arm and good feet that play well behind the plate. Given his speed, he spends time in the outfield as well where he is a high-level defender. At the plate, he takes a short stride and maintains balance while getting good extension. He has quick hands with a loose, line-drive swing.
