David Clay is a 5-foot-9, 185-pound C/OF from Owen J. Roberts HS who showcased well at multiple PBR events in 2012. Clay used an 82mph bat exit speed and a short, compact swing to drive baseballs to all fields consistently during his round of batting practice at the PA Top Prospect Games in October. He saved his best for game play where he went 4-for-4, with an RBI to take home MVP honors for the Black Team. The junior backstop has displayed a strong throwing arm at 76 mph out of the crouch with pop times ranging between 2.08-2.13. Clay is ranked No. 126 in the PA Class of 2014.
