Crew McChesney OF / RHP / Lone Peak, UT / 2023

A two-sport standout (football), McChesney is already making an impact at the varsity level for a stout Lone Peak program in Utah thanks to his elite athleticism. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound outfielder posted a 6.55 60-yard dash time at a PBR Utah preseason event in March, and showcased quick hands with impressive bat speed. An easy rhythm from an athletic base allows the hands to work freely down and back with a short stride before a more direct path to the ball works short to long through the zone. Bouncy in the outfield with a quick first step, McChesney also sports a strong (87 mph) arm, and could ultimately stick in centerfield long term. The DB/WR/RB clearly has the elite athleticism that college coaches crave, and with his left-handed stick already producing some sneaky power in-game, expect McChesney to continue opening eyes this summer.
