New Episode LIVE now! - At The Yard Podcast

FULLERTON, CA. - The Second Annual SoCal ProCase featured 35 of the top players in the Southern California region. Players were put through an extended pro-style workout that included the 60-yard sprint, two rounds of batting practice, defensive workouts at their respective positions, and concluded with a simulated-game session for pitchers/hitters. Pitchers faced 3-4 live batters, each hitter had a minimum of two at-bats a piece.

There were 67 representatives from 22 MLB Organizations in attendance. Some teams represented with 2-3 members of their scouting staff (including numerous crosscheckers and some scouting directors), socially distanced in the stands.

We will roll out individual player breakdowns and reports in the coming days. Today though we will focus on the statistical leaders from the workout portion of the ProCase.

Of note in the stats/data listed below, the hitters used wood bats and the EV numbers were recorded by TrackMan during the live BP portion.
