SoCal Player of the Week: Aaron Perez

2021 LHP/1B Aaron Perez has been named the Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performances in the Spartans last few games, where his contributions led the team to three strong wins.

Villa Park faced off against Laguna Beach, Canyon, and El Modena this past week. Perez played a big role in the Spartans victories over each of these teams.

At both the plate and on the mound Perez stood out as key player. For the week he was 3-for-10 with 2 HRs, 8 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. He also earned a win and a save on the mound as the Spartans collected three wins on the week. His sac-fly against Laguna Beach gave him a walk off RBI and the Spartans the victory. While facing El Modena Perez had 2 RBIs and picked up the win on the mound. On the mound he earned the save against Canyon, as well as collecting four RBIs at the plate.

For his efforts, Perez has been named the Prep Baseball Report SoCal Player of the Week for the week of March 11th - March 17th.
