We are reviewing signing classes from all in-state colleges, and highlighting players who committed to play college baseball outside the Natural State.
Last week we worked through, the Arkansas, Arkansas State, and players who signed out of state to play for Power 5 institutions, check out those stories below.
Today we move onto to Arkansas Little Rock. The Trojans committed three high school players to the roster to add depth to their usual junior college heavy recruiting classes.

Scouting Report
6-1-15 Top Prospects Game
Gordon is a 6-foot-5 right hander with a large frame and an average build. He pitched an efficient three innings inducing groundballs while striking out 1. Gordon does a good job creating angles using his height pitching at a downhill angle from a H3/4 arm slot. His fastball was 83-86 mph with slight sink. He located a curveball with 11/5 shape and early break. Gordon’s best secondary pitch is his changeup that he throws at near fastball arm speed with arm side run 72-75 mph. Overall Gordon is a big kid that needs to gain strength, he looks young for his class, so he should develop more than the average kid in his class. The arm is clean and uses very little lower half. I believe a sleeper of the 2016 class that may surprise some people in time.
1.10.15
Ty Gordon is a 6-foot-5 200-pound RHP with a large frame and a projectable build. He works from a High 3/4 arm slot with a quick clean arm with fluid rythm. His fastball is located consistently down in the strike zone at 83-86 mph and late sink. He compliments his fastball with a 12/6 curveball 63-64 mph with late break and a change up 68-71 mph with arm side at near fastball arm speed. Gordon projects to get better with his frame and arm action.
10.19.14.
He worked off his fastball of 80-81, it had good action with hard run for strikes on both sides of the plate. The velocity may not be there yet but it will come he has a quick clean arm.He needs to clean up some timing issues and get more extension but the body and arm are worth a look. His change up had arm side run and depth but missed in consistently with it.
