The Sierra Vista Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the Sierra Vista program to highlight and promote players in their program.

With the Sierra Vista Scout Day completed and metrics having been uploaded to each players profile, we now dive into the Top Statistical Performers at yesterday's event. The days started off with Uncommitted 2021 C, running an event and personal best 6.95 Laser Timed 60 that ended up translating directly to his improved and event best Pop Time at 1.97, down from his previous 2.05 that he recorded last October. 2023 1B/3B, James "JT" Starkus, earned the day's top Raw Exit Velocity at 94 mph that he carried into his batting practice round that showcased his present power to the middle and pull sides. 2022 two-way, two sport athlete, Traivon Dyson, is a long, lean player with present athleticism that he used to post the event's top Infield Velocity at 81 mph. Then, we had a projectable two-way 2023 LHP/1B, Chase Frey, has an impressive frame at 6-foot-4,193 pounds with some looseness in the arm that projects to continue adding velocity down the road and earned the top Outfield Velocity at 79 mph.
