Colorado Springs, CO- PBR Colorado wanted to highlight our 2021 class one more time in this challenging 2020 season. The Unsigned Senior Day will give 30+ players a chance to showcase their talents. Here is a preview on some past PBR players and performances on Sunday's roster.

Hit: RHH Good Balanced stance, slightly closed. Sway to leg lift with coil. Remains closed at launch. Hands and arm angles maintained in load, bat head levels with small wrap. Path tends to be out/around. Rear side acceleration is strong and aggressive to ball. Slight lift and retraction of upper body at contact. Pull side tendency Exit Velo 79
Power: Quickness to the ball will benefit in his quest for power.
Arm: Catcher Velo: 71 Pop: 2.13 Great Accuracy with throws to 2B. Short arc on backside with + follow through
Defense: Good consistent footwork with throws behind plate. Good agility on blocking. Nice actions and skill sets to continue to develop!

A 5-foot-9, 160-pound right hand hitting catcher/INF from the 2022 class who ran a 8.53 60. Wide open stance at the plate with a big leg trigger to come square. Hand load slow and weight transfers to the back side. Uphill swing path through the zone. Exit velocity was 72 mph with a pull side approach. Good set up behind the plate with soft hands and quick actions on balls in the dirt. Pop-times were 2.53-2.60 with a 62 mph arm. Plays an aggressive 3rd base, attacks the ball in and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot.

Deliberate side step, toe tap to plant and pivot. High leg lift to waist high balance. Sits on rear leg. Kick out to open toe stride. High arc shortened with easy extension. Glove side leverage with max effort, head pulls to 3B side FB 78-81 Pounded the zone with all pitches, some downward movement SL 66-68 Good spin, good feel for zone, down in zone. CH 75 Good feel. Good Tempo, Good Change of Speeds, Strikes Good Qualities

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6’4” 215
Run: 8.18
Hit: RHH Spread out stance with minimal movement back to load. Gets to stacked rear side position. Stride foot is up/down with some transfer forward. Arms extend with some arm bar, bat head levels. Hands do get in zone early, sometimes below ball. Long levered hitter with length to swing. Generates strength with good rear side acceleration. Exit Velo: 91. Would benefit with free flow on finish, has tendency to cut off finish
Power: He will run into some balls, will do it more as he refines and quickens swing
Arm: Inf Velo at SS: 79 Nice quick backside arc. Good extension. Cant help but consider him as RHP Plus Accuracy
Defense: Good athletic movements, Length to all Would consider options at 1B/3B

5-foot-8, 125-pound left hand hitting OF/LHP who ran an 8.10 60. Stand tall at the plate with a long stride on the pitch. Stays on the back side during the swing and path is uphill. Long out front at contact and on the finish. Exit velocity was 73 mph. In the field he uses long strides to cut down the angle on the ball. Fields square and come through the ball. Arm is high ¾ and 63 mph from the outfield. Simple set up on the mound, gets balanced and falls to the plate. Stays square on the landing and delivers from an over the top slot. Fastball was 68 mph with some run. Curve was 54-57 mph with sweeping break and he finished with a 64-65 mph change away in the zone.

5-foot-9, 140-pound right hand hitting SS/RHP who ran a 7.40 60. Narrow set up at the plate with a big leg kick and load on the pitch. Solid lower half on the swing and hands come through uphill on the swing. Aggressive swing produces an 82 mph exit velocity. Defensively he is sold and stays square on the ball. Arm is short from a high ¾ window and played at 74 mph. Works quick on the mound with a short leg lift and drives to the plate. Gets out over his front side with good extension on the release. Arm is over the top and fastball sat 72-75 mph with run. Curve was 58-60 mph with near fastball arm speed. Showed tight spin and 11/5 break.

5-foot-7, 120-pound right hand hitting SS/RHP. Lean middle infielder. Offensively, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, wrap load, quick double tap stride, maintains balance through contact. Opposite field approach, long, slightly uphill barrel path, 77 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, long arm action, ¾ arm slot, soft hands and quick glove transfer. 68 mph across the infield. On the mound, arm action is long and live, high ¾ slot. Fastball has straight life through the zone, sat 72-74 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, flashed tight spin, 56-58 mph. Changeup sinks, near fastball arm speed, 65-67 mph.
5-foot-7, 125-pound right hand hitting SS/RHP who ran a 7.8- 60. At the plate he is balanced with hands low in the zone. He has a quick stride and load and bat travels uphill on the swing. Exit velocity was 73 MPH. In the field he showed good athletic actions and covers good ground. He has soft hands and delivers a 66 MPH ball across the diamond with accuracy. On the mound his motion is simple and quick to the plate. Arm slot is ¾ and he finishes across his body. Fastball was 72MPH with late run in on the right hand hitter. He also showcased a 56 MPH curve with sweeping break and a 65 MPH change.
