Scout Notes: Elite South 2025 Tournament
September 27, 2022
PBR was on hand on Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18, for the Elite South 2025 tournament. Hosted at the Knothole Foundation's Tuckaseegee Dream Fields in Charlotte, NC, the field consisted of six teams with players from VA, NC, and SC. Each team played a double header on Saturday to setup seeding for Sunday's bracket play where a champion was named.
The tournament field featured Legacy Baseball (SC), CBC 2025 (NC/SC), CBC 2026 (NC/SC), Team Virginia (VA), Queen City Corndogs (NC), and the Lake Norman Bulldogs (NC). The event was setup for graduates from the 2025 and 2026 classes. After day 1, Legacy Baseball and CBC 2026 secured the top two seeds and a bye into the semi-finals on Sunday. As the day played out CBC 2025 won three games on Sunday and clipped Legacy Baseball in the finals to secure the weekend's championship.
Today we take a look at some of the players that stoodout for each team in the tournament. All notes and stats were compiled by PBR Scouts in attendance.
