Four Who Stood Out
Brady Bell C / RHP / Lincoln East, NE / 2021Bell was the top overall prospect at the event even though he's only entering his freshman year at Lincoln East. Above average tools across the board for his age and raw athleticism should continue to develop in the coming years.
Tyler Burns RHP / OF / Council Bluffs Lewis Central, IA / 2019Burns put up the top exit velocity, 60 yard sprint, IF Velo. Physically more matured than others at the event but has a chance to continue to improve has he fills into his wiry frame.
Nathen Moquin RHP / 1B / Millard South, NE / 2022Moquin was 1 of 2 2022 graduates who participated in the Scout Day and topped out at 80 mph with his fastball. Leverages his 6'3 frame to get the ball on a downhill plain, arm works clean and he has good body control.
Ryan Mendez RHP / OF / Millard North, NE / 2020Mendez has a chance to be exciting to watch over the next couple of years with his quick arm and fast twitch movements. Ran his fastball up to 84 mph from a mid 3/4 arm slot, mechanically he is raw and secondary offering are developing.
