SCHSL 4A Rankings - Week 4

1. AC Flora (14-3)
Last Week - 1
- The Falcons picked up 3 wins last week before suffering a 7-0 defeat at the hands of NC powerhouse Charlotte Christian. Baker Cox picked up two hits, scored two runs, and stole two bases in the 11-0 win over Lower Richland. The Falcons are back in action this week with Lower Richland and what could be their toughest region opponent in Dreher.
2. South Aiken (13-3-1)
Last Week - 2
- SA dropped a non region game with Greenwood before sweeping Airport in a big region series. Tucker Rabun hit safely in both games and leads this team into a huge week with Midland Valley in what could turn into a region championship deciding set.
3. Beaufort (14-3)
Last Week - 3
- The Eagles picked up 4 wins last week sweeping Bluffton and taking a non region game from May River. Missouri recruit Paul Winland ended the region series 5 for 9 with 2 triples. The Eagles will turn their attention to Wade Hampton, Point Pleasant, May River, and Thomas Heyward.
4. North Myrtle Beach (12-2)
Last Week - 5
- The Chiefs collected 3 big wins last week defeating region rival Hartsville in addition to Aynor and Marlboro County. Billy Barlow & Dalton Simpson combined for a 4-2 win over the Red Foxes. NMB will take on Myrtle Beach & Hartsville this week.
5. Midland Valley (15-1)
Last Week - 6
- The Mustangs took two from North Augusta last week to keep the train rolling and push their season win total to 15. Brendan Moyer continued his impressive campaign with a CG, 12K, shutout effort on Friday in which he scattered 2 hits and walked 1. MV will toe the line this week with a HUGE region set against South Aiken.
6. Greenville (9-2)
Last Week - 4
- Greenville took two from Travelers Rest before dropping a Saturday game to Christ School. Clay Wilson picked up two hits including a 2B and HR in Fridays win over TR. The Red Raiders will take on Berea this week with a non region game against JL Mann in between.
7. Belton Honea Path (11-3)
Last Week -7
- The Bears swept Pickens and took down Clinton last week scoring 38 runs in 3 games. The BHP offense pounded out 11 hits in route to a 9-1 win over Pickens on Friday. They will square off with Daniel this week.
8. Hartsville (11-3)
Last Week - 10
- The Red Foxes rebounded from a loss earlier in the week to defeat Camden and Wilson to finish the week 2-1. DP Pendergrass picked up two hits and stole two bases in a 6-5 win over Camden. They will take on Marlboro County, West Florence, and North Myrtle Beach this week.
9. Eastside
Last Week - NR
- Eastside took down Blue Ridge twice last week to break back into the Top 10. They will square off with Greenville in a two game set on April 9th and April 12th. This series will more than likely carry playoff implications.
10. Wren (9-3-1)
Last Week - 9
- Wren split two games with Palmetto before taking a Saturday matchup with Lexington. Boyd Gambrell went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs in a 6-2 win vs. Palmetto. The Hurricanes will turn their attention to Walhalla and Eastside this week.
NEXT FIVE: Walhalla, Blue Ridge, York, Hilton Head, Richland Northeast
