SCOUTING REPORT
Digrigoli stands 5-foot-11, 157-pounds with a slender build. Offensively- He uses a wide stance, weight shifts back on the pitch, slight stride. Hands are short to the ball, barrel is mostly level through the zone, simple repeatable stroke. 78 MPH exit velocity off a tee. Defensively- Receives the ball soft and clean. Transfer is quick and back to his ear, fast release with throws on the bag. Pop time 2.10-2.19 with a 71 mph arm. Continued strength and conditioning will only benefit his development behind the dish and in the batters box. Solid all-around foundation for a 2022 grad.
THOUGHTS ON THE FUTURE
"Digrigoli has a nice blend of athleticism, positional skill set and feel for the game at a young age. Extremely low maintenance approach in the box that will a carry over as he faces stiffer competition on the mound. Showed accuracy with above average arm strength for his age, continued progression with his footwork and transfer, coupled with an arm that will improve will allow for him to be a sub 2.0 guy behind the plate. When the 2022 rankings are released down the road Digrigoli will be a lock as Top 10 player."
