Recruiting news from around Illinois:

Zach Lewis, a strong RHP/3B from St. Laurence HS, has committed to the University of Evansville. Lewis, who features an upper-80s fastball, is currently ranked No. 35 in the Class of 2013.

Andrew Reisinger, a 6-foot-4 RHP from McHenry HS, has committed to Parkland College. Reisinger showed well at the PBR Top Prospect showcase with his mid-80s fastball.

Illinois Central College landed three commitments: Pontiac C Jason Priest, Galesburg SS Tanner Guss-Laird, Metamora 1B/OF Jake Hargis.

Derek Flaugher, a 6-foot-3 RHP from Mt. Zion HS, has committed to Rend Lake College.
