Several more 2013 prospects have named their schools recently. A look at who’s going where:
Evan Regez, a 6-foot-1, 160-pound left-handed hitting catcher from Herscher HS, has committed to Chicago State. Ranked No. 123 in Illinois’ 2013 class, Regez has been a three-year standout at Herscher.
Anthony Fortunato, a left-handed hitting outfielder from Palatine HS, has committed to Carthage College. Fortunato showed exceptionally well at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase.
Tyler Gudat, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound catcher from Dunlap HS, has committed to Lincoln College.
John Derby, a 6-foot, 160-pound RHP from De La Salle HS, has committed to Lewis University. Derby is currently 3-0 this season.
Two Lincoln-Way East prospects recently named their schools. Kyle Jagminas, a 6-foot-6 LHP, has committed to Loras College. Brandon Nathan, a RHP/INF, has committed to North Central College.
In older news, Matt Allen, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound RHP from Stevenson HS, has committed to Iowa University.
