Recruiting news around Illinois

A mixed-bag of commitments around Illinois recently. A recap of all the recruiting action:
Another Class of 2015 prospect is off the board. Jalin McMillan, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound infielder from De La Salle HS, has verbally committed to Illinois. McMillan marks the ninth 2015 commitment in Illinois.
Ben Hecht, a senior 6-foot-2, 165-pound RHP from Effingham St. Anthony HS, has committed to Northern Illinois. Currently ranked No. 84 in Illinois’ 2013 class, Hecht led Effingham St. Anthony to the Class 1A state championship by going 11-0 with a 0.53 ERA.
Kendall King, a Class of 2014 infielder from Homewood-Flossmoor HS, has committed to Western Illinois.
Colin Schreck, a senior 5-foot-9, 175-pound catcher from Rockton Hononegah HS, has committed to Black Hawk College. Schreck was one of the top performers at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase in January, showing consistent 2.01-2.04 pop times.
In other Black Hawk College news, RHP Jake Sharp has committed to Iowa. The 6-foot-2 Sharp was a standout at Rock Island Alleman, graduating in 2011, before attending Black Hawk.
Kyle Burton, an athletic senior 5-foot-9, 155-pound OF from Herscher HS, has committed to the University of St. Francis. The left-handed hitting Burton ran a 6.61 60 at a previous PBR event.
Kraemer Brandt, a senior 5-foot-8, 175-pound OF/2B from Conant HS, has committed to Judson University. Brandt is a left-handed hitter who ran a 6.94 60 at a PBR event.
Bryan Klendworth, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound senior OF from Prairie Ridge HS, has committed to Olivet Nazarene.
Prairie State College landed three players recently: Eric Duzan (Lockport HS), Chris Halley (Marian Catholic HS) and Colton Charbonneau (Oak Forest HS).
