Several more prospects have named their schools:

Welby Malczewski, a 6-foot-6, 235 LHP from Prospect HS, has committed to Wabash Valley JC. Malczewski emerged at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase in January as one of the top prospects at the event, showing a consistent mid-80s fastball that topped at 86. Malczewski is currently ranked No. 76 in Illinois’ 2013 class.

Zack Zyburt, a 5-foot-10 MIF/RHP from Plainfield North HS, has committed to Lee University in Tennessee. Zyburt is currently ranked No. 203 in Illinois’ 2013 class.

Brandon Edwards, an OF/LHP/1B from Bloomington HS, has committed to Muscatine CC. The left-handed hitting Edwards is currently ranked No. 188 in Illinois’ 2013 class.

Austin Mendell, a 6-foot-2 LHP from Herscher HS, has committed to St. Francis.

Roy Pettingill, a strong-bodied 6-foot-2, 220-pound 1B from St. Viator HS, has committed to Webster University. Pettingill recently had a solid showing at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase in January.

Illinois Wesleyan landed two more prospects: LHP/1B Xander Horwitz (Deerfield HS) and RHP Brian Henry (Morris HS).

Joey Anderson, a 5-foot-9 INF from Plainfield East HS, has committed to Concordia University.

Richard Velez, a C/INF from Reavis HS, has committed to Rock Valley College.
