With the conclusion of the 2017 MLB amateur draft, we wanted to take a look back at all the Florida players who heard their name called over the past three days.

Our scouting staff from a state and national perspective have followed many of these players, not only throughout their high school career, but during the summer and fall months as well. By continuous coverage through reports, video analysis, events, and more, we’ve been able to gather as much information on these players as possible. This included Draft Spotlights on multiple Florida high school players along with the PBR Draft 100, which provided continual updates on high school players nationwide.

2017 SS Chris Seise (West Orange HS, FL) continued the streak since 1995 of a Florida high school player being chosen in the first round when the Texas Rangers selected him 29th overall. Seise was ranked No. 1 in the Florida 2017 Class and No. 7 in the Overall 2017 Class.
