PBR: Why did you choose Newman?
The atmosphere there was great. The small environment will lead to lots of opportunities on the field and in the classroom

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Truman State, Benedictine, and Minot State

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

A tournament in Wichita this summer, the more I visited the more I got to know them on a personal level which really helped our relationship grow.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Definitely, it's a great feeling to know the process is over and you can focus more on baseball and school.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

I was leaning heavily towards Newman and I recently took and visit and got to meet the team and that really made my decision because I clicked well with the team.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

I would definitely say my parents. My dad has coached me since I can remember and my mom has been there for moral support. Both my parents have supported me and helped in every way possible.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

It really met my expectations. I knew it would be a long process but it really payed off and the coaches really helped it be as easy as possible.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

They will have both their middle infield starters leaving after this year so there will be a good opportunity for me to come in and fight for a spot right away.

PBR: You played for the Nebraska Sluggers, what was that experience like?

It really has been one of the best choices I could have made. The experience was incredible to bond and travel all summer but at the same time we got to play some top tier talent. It really helped improve my game majorly and has given me the best opportunity to prepare myself for college ball.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

I really don't have a certain moment that stands out but the past summer in all was really one of my favorite times in baseball.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Logan Foster.

PBR: Going into your senior season, what are your expectation for you team?

I want to be a leader and really focus on improving and preparing myself for college.
