PBR: Where have you decided to attend college and why did you make this choice?
Dennis: I have commited to Monmouth University. The coaches are great and the baseball program is very good. The campus is awesome and is located less than a mile from the beach. The school also had the major that I am interested in studying.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Dennis: I was also considering St. Josephs, Navy, Holy Cross and South Carolina Upstate

PBR: Was distance from home a factor in your decision?
Dennis: Yes, my parents are my biggest supporters and they definitely wanted to see my games.

PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Dennis: The staff started following me my sophomore summer. They saw me at the Top 100 showcase, at Selectfest and with my Philly Bandits team. I received emails and then when it was time, I would received calls from the pitching coach. The staff was great and I always felt comfortable when we talked.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Dennis: I am pretty sure that I am going to get time right away. What I do in practice prior to the season starts and how I perform will be a big part of how much I will be used. I am definitely looking to be a starter.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that will help your team?
Dennis: I am a positive person and work real hard. Playing on the Philly Bandits and learning from Coach Amaro, Coach Kurtz, Coach Coyle and Coach Olenski has really helped me stay on track and respect the game and play it the right way.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience from this past summer?
Dennis: I play for the Philly Bandits. My favorite memories were our trip to Georgia and winning the 110 team Diamond Nation tournament.

PBR: What is your current GPA?
Dennis: My current GPA is a 3.55.

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Dennis: I work out with Chris Kurtz. I am working hard to get bigger and stronger. I want to throw in the mid 90's for my senior year and Chris Kurtz is working with me to get there. I am going to work hard in the classroom because it is very important and academics are highly stressed on our Bandits team. We won our district tourney for school this past season and I sure hope we can get there again and go further in the state tournament. I think we have what it takes. It is going to be a fun season, but I still have to work hard to prepare for the next level.
