PBR:  Why did you choose the University of Michigan?

Miller:  I chose the University of Michigan because I felt great chemistry with the coaching staff there and I believe they can provide me the best future possible as a young student - athlete and a community leader.

PBR:  What other schools were you looking at?

Miller: The other schools I was interested in were Ohio University, University of Louisville, Xavier, Western Kentucky, Ball St., Flagler College (St. Augustine, Fl), and Bellarmine.

PBR:   Where did the coaching staff first see you play?

Miller:  Coach Schnabel first saw me in a game during the 17u WWBA tournament in Georgia. 

PBR:  What role do the coaches expect you to play throughout your first year?

Miller:  The coaches expect me to come in as a freshman and compete for a middle infield spot, where I believe I can come in early and fit great. 

PBR:  What would you consider your biggest strength as a player?

Miller:  I believe my biggest strength is my foot-work and the range I have at shortstop or second base. Also, I believe I'm a great team motivator, while making my teammates better everyday. 

PBR:  Who has had the biggest impact on your career as a baseball player?

Miller:  My brother is two years older than me and I have played ball with him my whole life. I have always looked up to him and he has always helped me learn and get better at the sport. The constant competition that went on with us as kids has really motivated me to be as good of a ball player I can possibly be. He was also one of the best ball players I have ever played with but his size caused him to get overlooked by many D1 schools and this motivates me everyday to work hard and take nothing for granted.

PBR:  Who do you play for in the summer?

Miller:  I play for the Kentucky Baseball Club, based out of Lexington, during the summer and fall.   

PBR:  What is your most memorable baseball moment?

Miller:  My most memorable baseball moment was during my high school season, during the district semi finals game I hit an inside the park home run to spark a run filled inning.

PBR:  Who is the toughest pitcher you have faced in the state of Kentucky?

Miller:  Ryne Combs out of Lexington, Ky was the best pitcher I have faced. He was a 2012 graduate and a University of Kentucky signee while also achieving the Kentucky Mr. Baseball award.
