PBR: Why did you choose Bowling Green?
Kendall: The coaching staff at BG made me feel very comfortable, they are very family oriented and it just felt right. Great facilities and great academics.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Kendall: Wright State, Lake Erie, Ball State, Morehead, Indiana, Akron.
PBR: Where did Coach Schmitz first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Kendall: At the Buckeye Elite tournament in Columbus and then at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase at Ohio State. Phone conversations, emails, and a campus visit where they made me and my family feel very welcomed.
PBR: How does it feel to be a part of a Division 1 baseball program?
Kendall: Awesome, I feel very blessed. This has been my dream since I was 5 years old.
PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Kendall: They expect me to pitch as a freshman.
PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Falcon baseball?
Kendall: Mental toughness. I hope to compete for them and give them a lot of quality innings.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Kendall: Raptors Elite. When I threw a complete game no hitter.
PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?
Kendall: I didn't know what to expect, it was an exciting experience, however I am glad it is over.
PBR: What were your stats this spring season at Troy?
Kendall: 6-4, 2.3 era, 3 saves, 69 K's.
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ohio?
Kendall: Sean Murphy of Centerville.
