Q and A with 2014 Adrian Commit: Collin Korte (St. Johns Jesuit)
May 8, 2014
Collin Korte, LHP, Class of 2014, St. Johns Jesuit
PBR: Why did you choose Adrian?
Korte: The main reason I chose to go to Adrian is because of their dominance in the MIAA conference. Also because of their great facilities and those facilities will give me the chance to improve my game
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Korte: A close second choice was Mount Union
PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Korte: The team will be losing many of their pitchers after this year which will give me the opportunity to show the coaches what I can do
PBR: What summer team do you play on and how has travel baseball helped your development as a player?
Korte: I play for Whitehouse Legion and many of the other teams I play against I usually have no idea who plays on the team, so I have to pick up certain cues from the batters on the spot which tells me what and where I should pitch the ball
PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Korte: All of my teammates and coaches. I hate to disappoint people, which pushes me to do the best I can whenever I can.
