Jack Connolly, RHP, Bridgewater-Raynham, 2015
BACKGROUND
Connolly is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher from Bridgewater-Raynham HS. The talented righty committed to the Notre Dame after garnering interest from all schools across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. He hit the recruiting scene early in his high school campaign, and as he progressed, he showed a great deal of improvement as he matured physically.
SCOUTING REPORT
Connolly throws from a ¾ arm slot with a bit of effort in his delivery but has the athletic ability to repeat. He shows an aggressive approach to pitching showing zero signs of backing down from any situation.
His breaking ball shows good tilt and angle that many high school pitchers struggle to harness. With the combination of a 86-88 mph fastball and effective out pitch, he should make an easy transition to the next level as a reliever early and then flipped into a bigger role as he progress through his college experience.
As for now, he high school team should be special and he will certainly contribute to a great senior year at Bridgewater-Raynham.
