We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Michigan’s Preseason Underclass Showcase East. This was a great opportunity for 2016, '17 and '18 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

TOP PITCHER: Diaz Saunderson, LHP, Northville, 2016
TOP POSITION PLAYER: Zach Prystash, OF, Northville, 2016
Alex Vydick, C/MIF, Hartland, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect. Keeps weight evenly balanced behind the plate allowing good flexibility and strong receiving skills. Showed strong pop times at 1.89-1.97. Good body control at shortstop with soft hands, short arm action throwing 80 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.40 home to first. Plus strength at the plate with quick hands in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed was registered at 88 mph.
Brendan Bilkovic, RHP/2B, West Bloomfield, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 150-pound prospect. Quick tempo throwing from a low-¾ to side arm slot. Fastball was 75-78 with arm-side run. Slurve was 61-64 mph. Changeup showed some nice run and sink at 65-68 mph. Showed soft hands with good range on the infield. Threw 75 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.30 home to first. Wide stance from the left side with a good bat path in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 73 mph.
Brenden Francis,OF, Memphis, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-7, 140-pound prospect. Athletic action with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 70 mph from the outfield. Ran a 4.40 home to first. Open to open stance from the left side of the plate, good bat path spraying the baseball to all fields. Bat speed registered at 71 mph.
Corey Foster, C, Detroit International Western, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 155-pound prospect. Has emerged as a top catching prospect in the 2016 class. Athletic actions behind the plate with his blocking and receiving skills. Pop time of 1.91-2.03. Ran a 4.70 home to first. Gets good separation with a slight bat wrap in a pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 66 mph.
Diaz Saunderson, LHP, Northville, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. High-¾ arm slot with clean mechanics. Get good extension on fastball at 75-79 mph. Curveball has good spin with some depth at 61-64 mph. Changeup shows some sink with good control at 62-65 mph.
Dillon Mitchell, MIF, Memphis, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 140-pound prospect. Good actions with his glove and footwork, exceptional range laterally on the infield. Threw 70 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.60 home to first. Good separation with a flat bat path in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 75 mph.
Paul Marble, C/RHP, Utica, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 190-pound prospect. High-¾ arm slot in max effort delivery. Fastball was 75-80 mph, 11/5 curveball with late break at 64-64 mph, and changeup with some sink at 71-72 mph. Receives the baseball well keeping it in the strike zone behind the plate. Quick athletic actions blocking the baseball. Pop time of 1.91-1.96. Ran a 4.60 home to first. Wide stance with a short stride, some strength in a middle approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 80 mph.
Quentin Taylor, OF, New Lothrop, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect. Good feel in the outfield with his footwork and glove. Threw 83 mph from the outfield with an accurate arm. Ran a 4.50 home to first. Creates good leverage at the plate with some strength in his bat. Bat speed registered at 80 mph.
Richard Bortle, 3B/C, Hartland, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 200-pound prospect. Wide setup behind the plate, blocks and receives the baseball well. Pop time of 2.05-2.12. Hands work well out in front of body fielding the baseball on the infield. Threw 64 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.40 home to first. Good separation with quick hands in a pull approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 82 mph.
Ryan Stalker, 1B/RHP, Harbor Beach, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 215-pound prospect. Big physical frame with a short ¾ arm action. Fastball was 69-71 mph, 11/5 curveball with gradual break at 58-61 mph, and changeup at 60-61 mph. Clean footwork with soft hands at first base. Threw 69 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.60 home to first. Good separation from the left side of the plate, backside collapses in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 80 mph.
Zach Prystash, OF, Northville, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 155-pound prospect. Loose athletic actions in the outfield with his footwork and glove. Threw 81 mph from the outfield. Ran a 4.20 home to first. Open to even stance from the right side, quick hands in a compact swing. Open even stance from the left side, excellent bat path spraying the baseball to all fields. Bat speed registered at 76 mph from the right side and 70 mph from the left side.
