The Preseason Prospect ID took place on Sunday, January 27th at Smith Wills Stadium, in Jackson, MS. The open event featured 50+ prospects – from across the state of Mississippi - complete the 60-yard dash, positional workouts, live batting practice with exit velocity station, and pitcher bullpen sessions. Parker Ryan (Jackson Academy, 2021) clocked the quickest 60 of the event, posting a time of 6.7-seconds. Chandler Pittman (Magee, 2021), clocked a time of 6.8-seconds, while Blake Pierce (Brandon, 2021) followed suit with a time of 6.93-seconds.
