Florida Scouting Director
The Florida high school season kicks off on February 9, the first day for regular season games. Most teams will begin practicing on January 19, getting their rosters set and finalizing their lineups. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we will be rolling out team previews of high school teams all across the state and across all classifications.

OUTLOOK
West Broward High School baseball is coming off of a 17-6 record from 2014. Coach Ambros and his club are looking to compete in the conference with the likes of Flanagan, Everglades and Macarthur HS for the conference championship. West Broward expects to be strong on the mound this year with four returning pitchers including Jacksonville University commit, Michael Schappell and incoming transfer and Miami commit, Anthony Molina. They will also be strong defensively lead by Nova SE commit, Chayce Hay-Eldon and Steven Revilla. The outlook is good for the West Broward High School as they will have an older more experienced club this year and will also be deep on the mound as they have several dominant arm and several more that can step in as needed. Broward County is always loaded with talent and this year will be no different as West Broward hopes to represent in post season play.
