STAT RAT: The Trojans can score runs, they averaged 7.7 runs a game in 2016

BOTTOM LINE: The Trojans have made the 4A Final 8 two of the last three years including a run to the Final Four in 2014, losing to eventual Champion Green Mountain. The 2017 Trojans have a nice mix of players coming back and will be led offensively by, Noah Befus, .368 avg. with 21 RBI, Austin Hassler, .437 with 4 homeruns and Matt Zamudio, .308 with 20 hits.  No. 31 2017 Dagin Renck will be the ace of the staff, he is coming off a 6-2 year with 74 K's.  Hassler and Befus also saw innings last year and will see their workload increase in 2017.  Looking at the experience on their roster of returning players, we expect Longmont to once again make some noise in May.
